I find burdock root to be a gentle liver helper. It is an oily root and can help teach your body to manage oils better. Helpful with certain types of oily skin. Per Matthew Wood it can help with dry secretions in the respiratory track. I have used it personally for asthma support. It seemed to reduce symptoms and irritation but it did help during attacks or prevent them. Generally recommended for dried out people or joints. Lubricates digestive track.
